Major Achievements  (2014-2018)

  • As lead designerdeveloped a new conceptual topological structure of parallel robot manipulator, and named/patented as “Tri-pyramid Robot”, which is being used for novel double-sided dieless incremental metal sheet forming process.

  • This is the first/unique conical-based three translational parallel kinematic machine.

  • Responsible and leading for the full process of design, analysis and fabrication of two Tri-pyramid Robots with a novel adaptive hydraulic clamping system, which include complete mechanical, electrical hardware and software control work.

  • Design/build an electropulsing-assisted tube rolling machine, which is based on the new profile three rollers design. The complete mechatronic system is developed for the high electropulsing current rolling process.
